Back in March, I saw a commercial advertising a free gift with purchase from Clinique in Macy’s. I was in need of a new foundation and decided to try one from the brand. After researching, I had a few in mind but the woman helping me at the Clinique counter said that because of my oily skin, the Stay-Matte Oil-Free Makeup would be my best bet. She color matched me (2 Alabaster) and I got my free gift of two makeup bags, travel sized moisture surge moisturizer, dramatically different moisturizing lotion +, a lipstick/lip gloss duo, a sample mascara and an eye shadow/blush palette. That’s a pretty good free gift!

I’ve never tried a cream blush before but I’ve read they are great for oily skin. I don’t remember what channel on YouTube I saw this blush being used, but after I watched the video I wrote this product down on my phone so I wouldn’t forget to buy it.

            The EXPRESS Shopping Event took place at the store in Times Square. The store was open to Teen Vogue students and gave us a 25% discount on any purchases. The second floor had a temporary tattoo station, a lash bar and offered mock tails and hor d'oeuvres. Teen Vogue Editors attended the event and met and took pictures with students.
